HM Revenue & Customs is responsible for policing our U.K. tax system. We do all that we can to ensure that our clients are not selected by HM Revenue & Customs for investigation. Each account we produce is carefully scrutinised before it is approved by Melvyn, who was formerly an Inland Revenue (now HM Revenue & Customs) tax investigator. The circumstances behind any "unusual" results are then noted or appropriate changes are made after discussion and agreement with the client, so that we can be confident with the figures which are finally lodged.
